We’re excited to announce our wonderful virtual receptionist Samantha Martinez is the winner of our inaugural ‘Win a Trip to Australia’ competition.
Trip-of-a-lifetime
Samantha will be going on a trip-of-a-lifetime to visit our Australian parent company OfficeHQ’s Sydney and Queensland offices. She’ll spend time with our Australian team members and also have personal time off to go sightseeing.
Will Sam swim with the whale sharks in the Ningaloo Reef, explore the Daintree Rainforest, visit Australia Zoo to cuddle up next to a koala or hand feed a kangaroo? Maybe she’ll take in the action of an Australian rugby match or visit the breathtakingly beautiful Blue Mountains.
Samantha says: “I’m so excited I won the competition. I can’t wait to visit Australia!”
What did Samantha do to win the competition?
Our amazing team of US virtual receptionists are always focused on providing a premium service and experience for all callers. As a way of maintaining our high standards, receptionists are measured on various quality metrics.
As an extra way of showing our appreciation, we decided to run a competition. Winning a trip to Australia was suggested because, while our US operations are based in Phoenix, Arizona, we’re part of the OfficeHQ group whose global headquarters are based in Australia. (We also have UK and America operations.)
With a strong bond between the countries, we thought our US virtual receptionists would love the opportunity to visit Australia.
The competition ran between December 2017 and March 2018. Success along the way meant additional tickets in the competition raffle.
Our CFO, Ryan Mitchell, flew to the US and announced Samantha as the winner this week.
Ryan said: “Congratulations Samantha! Well deserved, what an exciting opportunity to travel to the other side of the world.”
David Atkinson, our CEO added: ”Our receptionists are one of our biggest strengths. They’re gold. It’s great to be able to reward Samantha with this trip to Australia.”
Our teams in Sydney and in Maroochydore, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, can’t wait to welcome Samantha when she arrives in Australia!
